Example 1

Retainer packages are offered for regular scheduled jobs on a monthly basis and must be pre booked prior to work commencing. Retainer clients will be invoiced at the beginning of the contract as you are pre booking hours and time with your assistant.


Whereas single or one-off jobs will be invoiced upon completion of each assignment.


Payment will be due within 7 days from invoice date. This is negotiable depending on your business terms, although extra fees will apply to late payers unless prior arrangement is made with your assistant.


We accept payment via direct deposit, COD, cheque and money orders.


(Visa card, Master card and American Express are also accepted with a $3 admin fee and 2.4% merchant fee.)

Your assistant is doing some data entry for you, it only takes her 45min to complete the task. You will be charged for 1hr.

Example 2

You require your assistant to order new business cards, followed by Preparing your BAS Statement and then some Internet research. All together this takes 1hr 15min. You will be charged for the first full hour and then 1/4 of the hourly rate.

Here at Virtual Office Solutions we only charge for the hours worked on your assignment, we do not charge for lunch breaks nor expect you to pay for time we use on the phone or email to our other Clients.


All bookings will be charged for the first hour, regardless of time taken. From then on your time will be charged in 15min increments.


All time spent working for you is tracked using time tracking software, which you then get a copy of with your invoice.


Assignments are generally completed in our office. On the odd occasion that a clients needs are for us to attend their place of work to complete tasks, this can also be arranged at an extra cost.

Example 2

You require your assistant for approx 2hr per day to do a daily task indefinitely. You would pre book a 40hr per month retainer package so the work is booked in no matter what. Your assistant completes the work week by week and at the end of each week you will receive a copy of the time tracker statement to see how you going for time.


At the end of the month you can choose to re book your assistant for the same 40hrs or you may choose to increase or decrease the hrs depending on your needs.
